The Cáparra venue, the last to join the extensions of the Mérida International Classical Theater Festival, once again becomes the setting for several shows this year, being, together with the one in Madrid, one of the longest extensions of the festival and the first carried out in the province of Cáceres.
This year, the Cáparra site, located in the areas of Oliva and Guijo de Granadilla, a few kilometers from Plasencia, will host up to four productions that will be performed next to the Cáparra arch, the undisputed symbol of the city.
Thus, on August 8th, The Gift of Zeus will arrive on the Cáparra stage, while on the 9th, Los Titanes will be performed. The next day, August 10th, the public will be able to enjoy The Comedy of the Errors and, on the 11th, Las asambleístas will put the culmination to the extension of Cáparra this year.
