The Roman Theatre of Medellín will once again host a new edition of the Mérida Festival’s extension this summer, offering the public the opportunity to enjoy three of the shows that were highlights of the Festival’s 71th edition.
The spectacular venue, restored several years ago, will feature Coriolanus by William Shakespeare on July 25, directed by Antonio Simón and starring Roberto Enríquez, Carmen Conesa, and Manuel Morón, among others. On July 26, it will be the turn of Iconos o la Exploración del destino, created and performed by Rafael Álvarez “El Brujo.” Finally, on July 27, La Aparición will be performed by the company Verbo Producciones, starring Fernando Ramos, Esteban G. Ballesteros, and Paca Velardiez, among others.
The traditional summer street parade will also return, with a performance of Aquiles on July 25.
