By car
Mérida is an important hub of road communications. It is a point of union from North to South through the “Vía de la Plata” A-66 (Gijón-Sevilla) highway, and from East to West through the A-5 (Madrid-Lisbon) and the A highway. -43 (Lisbon-Valencia).
